Filtronic Comtek and Virtual College have created a strong working relationship over the last few years. This started with an ECDL programme delivering in-house training of staff in IT skills resulting in a nationally recognised qualification.
Filtronic Comtek is also leading the Training Management company roll-out. The Training Management System has now been in place for 2 years with 2000 employees registered on the system worldwide - including China, USA, Finland and sites in the UK. Standardised training, linked to job roles, is set up within the system and blended to both face to face and e-learning web based training resources. The powerful assessment tools, which are then utilised to check knowledge and comments, can also be inserted on individual training records to confirm competence.
